The necklaces are replaced by stringed necklaces and the pearl or precious stone are replaced by seed beads and semi precious stones to give a vibrant and innovative look .The biggest advantage of the fashion accessory necklaces, bangles or earrings was that it could be worn with any king of dress and suited almost all functions and meetings. The designs are innovative and exquisite and are easily available in the local cosmetic shop or round the corner or in the local market. Due to these reasons it gained a lot of praise and buyers overseas and today it is more popular than the traditional jewellery.


The emergence of fashion jewellery gave working opportunity and helped the artisans and the skilled workers to showcase their talent in the international fashion jewellery market. It gave an opportunity for the talented artisans to earn a better income and improve their working conditions and help them to earn better wages and promote Indian handicraft in the Indian as well as international market
